Minnesota Wedding with Alpacas | Kara + Daniel
As the seasons officially shift from summer to fall in Minnesota, the light is always particularly warm. We love how our gardens and grounds appear to glow even more brightly, and there are still plenty of outdoor spaces for our couples to visit for their ceremonies and photos. Kara and Daniel took full advantage of everything September at The Outpost Center has to offer, and we have to admit we think their celebration is one of the most fun we have ever hosted on our property!
Every detail Kara and Daniel chose for their wedding day was thoughtful, timeless, and wonderfully whimsical. They spent their mornings getting ready for their wedding day on property – something we always love when couples choose to do. Then they shared their first look outside in the field. As we mentioned, Minnesota was glowing, and it felt like it was just for them!
After they had seen each other for the first time, they waited for their guests to gather for their ceremony. We loved Kara’s walk down the aisle. She stepped through vintage barn doors decked out in flowers before she walking toward Daniel on her own. Our arbor was made even more festive with neutral blooms, and it served as the perfect spot for K+A to recite their vows.
Once they were officially married, Kara and Daniel set off with their photographer, Tessa June Photography, to capture portraits together. We have to admit our favorite photos from the bunch are the ones where they are joined by alpacas! They also captured sweet photos with their pup, which we adore just as much.
Kara and Daniel hosted their guests inside our classic barn for a buffet dinner, followed by heartfelt speeches and plenty of dancing. A wreath of ivory blooms served as a backdrop, and tables were adorned with rose centerpieces. As the sun was setting, Kara and Daniel ducked outside to capture a few final outdoor photos, and then they rejoined their guests inside for more celebrating.
Kara and Daniel, your wedding was one of our most joyful of 2020, and we are so grateful to have been able to welcome you and your guests!
