Minnesota Countryside Wedding for Katy + Brandon
When we ask brides and grooms which wedding professionals they’re eager to meet, many are quick to note they can’t wait to begin working with their florists. And, we agree! Flowers can make spaces come alive in ways that are hard to even describe. Plus, the bouquet you carry down the aisle will quickly become an iconic piece. Knowing how much our couples (and our team!) can’t get enough of the sight of wedding flowers, we can’t wait for you to meet today’s couple, Katy and Brandon.
Katy and Brandon knew they wanted to celebrate their wedding day outside as much as possible. Once the bride, groom, and full wedding party were ready, they started to capture photos throughout our property. Our fields and rustic barn served as two preferred backdrops, and the lighting on display throughout this photo session was magnificent.
Of course, all eyes were on Katy and Brandon wedding ceremony once all of their guests arrived. And, we naturally have to point out their flowers! They decided against lining their full wedding aisle with blooms (a great move to make if you’re hoping to keep your floral budget in check) and opted to instead add floral accents to our arbor. It’s a sweet and beautiful touch, plus you’re also assured to have flowers in the photos of you and your love when you’re reciting your vows.
Whether it was on display in the portraits Katy and Brandon captured together and with their wedding party or during their first celebratory moments as husband and wife, we simply have to highlight Katy’s wedding bouquet. This piece was organic in style and filled to nearly overflowing with blooms, and we loved every detail of it. We’re certain Katy hoped it would last forever because we did too!
After their ceremony, it was time for Katy, Brandon, and their guests to join together again for their reception. Over a menu we crafted, Katy, Brandon, and their guests enjoyed an intentional start to their celebration. Then speeches and plenty of dancing were next!
Between the hearts of these two and their beautiful flowers, we have to admit it was a bittersweet moment when Katy and Brandon’s wedding day came to an official close. We could have celebrated forever, and we’re so happy you joined us at The Outpost Center!
