Chaska Wedding Venue | Isabella + James

In the winter, The Outpost Center is most often blanketed in white snow. In the summer, we’re greeted by the warm, green glow of beautifully in blooms trees scattered throughout our property. Both are welcome sights, especially for our couples who love to embrace our outdoor spaces. Isabella and James enjoyed the latter – a lovely Minnesota summer wedding day complete with glowing natural light.  

From the moment they arrived at The Outpost Center, Isabella and James were filled with joy. They loved spending their mornings getting ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and it’s so clear how thrilled they were to have their closet friends and family standing beside them in the wedding party photos captured by Jonathan James Head. The photo of the bridesmaids leaning in close and laughing together while holding their bouquets by Jubilee Flower Studio is one of our favorites!

Isabella walked down the aisle toward James, and our team felt honored to watch as these two became husband and wife under our wooden arch accented with garden inspired pink blooms and soft drapery. Post vows, Isabella and James recessed down the aisle to capture more portraits together as an official Mr. and Mrs. before joining their guests once again for cocktail hour. Their portraits are wonderfully romantic, especially because I+J jumped at the chance to explore our property and embraced a lovely greenery filled backdrop!

During their reception, guests enjoyed dinner and nearly non-stop dancing, thanks to Mitch Johnson and Hannah Painting. Isabella and James shared their first dance to “Take the World” by Johnnyswim, and Hannah and her dad danced to “The Girl You Think I Am” by Carrie Underwood. Isabella and James even ordered late night pizza for their guests! As their wedding day came to a close, Isabella and James had one final photographic opportunity – a walk through sparklers with their guests cheering on their new union on either side.
